WEEK 12 (STRIPBOARD AND PCB BOARD)

Assalamualaikum...

For this week, we discuss with each other about our fyp progression and make a new plan. That's we will make two circuit for fyp project. First circuit we construct on stripboard and second circuit on pcb board. The reason is we want to make a backup circuit if the first circuit on stripboard is not well functional.

This is a failure result of stripboard circuit:

-Stripboard circuit not functional-

So, we make another circuit at pcb board. Actually using pcb board is easy for the connection of circuit but we have to design it first by using the software of diptrace. The advantage of this software is it can design the schematic diagram and convert it to pcb layout. 

By not wasting the time, we design a circuit at diptrace and succesfull done at schematic and pcb. Then, we just need to buy the uv board so we can laser scan the circuit and making a etching at uv board. This is a image of schematic diagram and pcb layout at diptrace:

This is the activity of etching on the uv board:

                                                     -Insert print circuit at UV board in UV box-

-Then, develop sodium hydroxide with water and shake it-

-Use the liquid of Ferric Chloride to etching away of copper surface on the PCB board-

 -Carefully, brush the copper surface on line of PCB layout-

This is the result of PCB board
